  • Locating properties with certain acreage and environmental characteristics in a given area. For example, you might be interested in rural properties west of the Newell Highway that are larger than 500 ha and have more than 250 ha of uncultivated land. MagicDirt can isolate this data for you.
  • Providing custom information on the frequency of rural property listings and settled sales. Portions of properties can be isolated to represent the different classes of land within a single holding, or particular Lots within a holding.

The rural data is managed spatially, so can be analysed in the context of other geospatial information. This is of particular benefit when dealing with large-scale infrastructure projects — the MagicDirt Value dataset allows for rapid feasibility costing of partial and whole properties. This means you can get the realistic value of specific land.


 MagicDirt Value can provide information with specific parameters. For example:
  • Analysis of property value can be carried out with a focus on vegetation. For example, you may be interested in properties with a minimum quantity of vegetation or those with a minimum threshold of arable area.
  • Because the foundation datasets have a resolution much finer than the property scale, MagicDirt can isolate parts of properties and give the value of each land class within them. From a set of 7 typical land classes found in rural NSW, the four largest of these within a holding are reported.
  • By adding an overlay of data layers, MagicDirt can better reflect high and low-value portions of property than if average values were used.
